So how is the East Coast faring a month after Hurricane Sandy?

It's a small step toward sanity in Louisiana:

Gov. Bobby Jindal’s voucher program that uses tax dollars to send students to private schools was ruled unconstitutional Friday by a state judge who said it’s improperly funded through the public school financing formula.

Judge Tim Kelley sided with arguments presented by teacher unions and school boards seeking to shut down the voucher program and other changes that would funnel more money away from traditional public schools.

It's almost too late down there. The lawsuits should have been filed with the institution of the "Recovery School District" in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.

The term "Asperger symdrome" is being dropped from the APA's diagnostic manual in an apparent attempt to help more children and adults get more services for the disorder.

Unfortunately, a psychologist my brother saw for getting SSI said autism and Asperger are actually different and not the same thing at all. Autism is a disorder involving the left side of the brain, while Asperger involves the right side.
