Death: Newspaper co-owner Lewis Katz, 72, died in a horrible plane crash just days after purchasing with partner H.F. "Gerry" Lenfest the Philadelphia Inquirer and other newspapers.

Six missing climbers are feared dead on Mt. Rainier in Washington state.

While the Santa Barbara killings were more about mental illness and the lack of intervention that would have prevented the tragedies, this writer is absolutely right about the poisonous effects of what he calls "Hefnerism."

One's sex life or lack of it is just one small part of an individual's life. It shouldn't be one's entire existence or their source of identity (are you listening, LGBTs?).
