Pedro Martinez is Coming Back BUT

he's got the board on notice about what they can and can't do with regard to his performance issues or character.

At first I thought he was a sucker walking into a trap, but he's got all of his bases covered. The lawsuits will continue:

"I want the trustees on notice that they can't discuss my character or performance that has to happen through an evaluation process," he said.

He also wants the process of what happened last week to be made public through an investigation surrounding allegations the board violated Nevada Open Meeting Law.

He said he was not encouraged by the board's announcements today.

"I am not seeing any sense of remorse from the actions of July 22," he said.

He said he wants the school year to start right for families and feels an obligation to return immediately.

"In the last few days I have heard about a lot of dysfunction already with the board trying to micromanage things at the district," Martinez said. "We have to have a good start to the school year."

The micromanagement by the board is why they pulled the damned stunt in the first place.
