Huey Long and George Wallace Have Some Company

Of course I am referring to Donald Trump, who has taken demagoguery to a whole different level.

The editorial lays it on the line:

Nearly every week, he commits some new outrage against truth and decency. This travesty has gone on long enough. Voters have to put a stop to it, and that starts by acknowledging the uncomfortable truth: Trump is an accomplished demagogue and a clear and present danger to American democracy.

The problem is all of the Republican candidates are this way. Trump is simply less polished than the others.

Personally, I think Ted Cruz is far more dangerous, but he is a seasoned pol, so he knows how to communicate his ideas better than Trump.

Of course, Trump is nothing more than a stalking horse for the Democrats, so I want him to stay in the race.
