Monday Etc.

Shades of Priscilla Ford as at least one is dead and dozens injured in Las Vegas when a woman apparently deliberately ran over people on the famed Las Vegas Strip.

Ford, of course, was convicted and sentenced to death row for killing seven people and injuring 23 in downtown Reno on Thanksgiving Day in 1980. She died on death row in 2005. She was suffering from schizophrenia.

Obituary: Former president Jimmy Carter announced yesterday that one of his grandson's Jeremy, only 28, had died of undisclosed causes.

It sounds like adult sudden death syndrome. I once went to high school with someone who was just 31 years old when she passed away in 1985. She had an undiagnosed heart problem.

Obituary: Another Republican campaign has died of donation starvation: Lindsey Graham abandoned his bid for the White House and will concentrate on the easy gig of being U.S. Senator.

If Marco Rubio becomes the GOP nominee, which I doubt, but if he is, he will easily lose to Hillary Clinton.

Actually, if it is Rubio, then Kasich will be the running mate. If it is Kasich, Rubio will be the running mate, and Clinton will have a bigger challenge although she will still win.
