Wednesday Reads

By adopting the GOP hate rhetoric against Clinton by using lies about her character, Bernie Sanders effectively ended his longshot campaign.

Note the mention of Bernie Sanders himself being a "superdelegate."

Dipshit author needs to lay off of the marijuana.

Glenn Beck tries to keep it classy like a good, moral, decent Christian--okay, Mormon--man:

“Kasich, I mean, excuse my language, but, you son of a bitch, the republic is at stake,” Beck said Wednesday on his radio program. “This is not like a normal race. The republic is at stake."

I know this situation too well. It took me FOUR years to find this regular position even though it is only 18.75 hours a week with no health benefits.

It has PERS, and that is reason enough for me to hang onto for dear life unless I can find another public sector position.

Obituary: Frank Sinatra, Jr., son of Ol' Blue Eyes, has died at the age of 72, his family announced.

As mentioned on this blog and elsewhere he was the victim of an infamous kidnapping back in 1963 when he was 19.

The picture of the younger Sinatra at the link had me fooled he was his dad. He looked almost exactly like him.

He died of cardiac arrest.

Sinatra followed his father's singing career path and was a 19-year-old on tour when he was kidnapped by three men in 1963. After three days, two of the men went to go collect a $240,00 ransom, but the other abductor let the son free. The kidnappers were caught and later convicted.

His career wasn't as successful as his father's, but he wasn't bitter about it at all.
