Daily Sun News:
More than ever, Americans need and deserve a choice other than the tainted past, and present, Republicans and Democrats are offering in Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.____
#For that reason, among others, Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson is our pick for president.
#Johnson is also appealing because his Libertarian views are more in agreement with the way most Eastern Washington residents live their lives.
#Remember, it wasn’t that long ago presidential hopeful Ron Paul won the majority of votes in Eastern Washington, with the exception of Benton County.
South Carolina's The Post and Courier:
And if you’re among that vast group, register your displeasure loudly and clearly by voting for neither Hillary Clinton nor Donald Trump on Tuesday. Instead, vote for Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson._____
Two months ago, Mr. Johnson, in a guest column that ran in many newspapers, including this one, rightly branded Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Trump as “the most polarizing presidential candidates in more than a generation.” He also correctly wrote: “Elected officials in Washington cannot even agree on a real budget — and haven’t for years. That’s their most straightforward responsibility. These partisans place loyalty to their team over loyalty to the nation’s needs. It’s eerie to see Republicans under Donald Trump denounce free trade and limited government. It’s unsettling to see how comfortable Democrats have gotten with Hillary Clinton’s approach to Middle East regime change as secretary of state.”
Mr. Johnson established a solid record as a fiscally conservative governor of New Mexico from 1995 to 2003, earning re-election by a large margin in a state that has voted for the Democratic nominee in five of the last presidential elections.
The Danville Register & Bee (Virginia):
In a normal year, the Danville Register & Bee would endorse the Republican candidate for president. But this isn’t a normal year, and Trump isn’t even a Republican. He most closely resembles a one-man political movement.______________________________________________
That leaves us with a choice all Dan River Region residents will have to make on Tuesday, but it’s not a tough choice. Today, we endorse Gov. Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party’s presidential nominee.
We support Johnson because, like all Libertarians and conservatives, he understands that not all of our problems can be solved with new regulations and more government spending. Johnson is a businessman, who as governor of New Mexico cut taxes and vetoed 750 bills.
Bowling Green Daily News:
Returning to the aforementioned flaws of the two candidates, Trump wears the crass label while Clinton carries the corrupt label. Each candidate has additional liabilities we could enumerate._____
Given what we believe is at risk in this election, including the erosion of our individual liberties by an overreaching government and the rule of law, we believe that crass trumps corrupt by a wide margin.
As this editorial is written, the two candidates appear to be in a tight race. Clinton could well emerge the winner.
